English Breakfast OP Organic is a certified organic loose leaf black tea blend (Camellia sinensis), blended in-house by The Herbal Connection team from premium grade Assam and Darjeeling teas grown in India. Assam brings a rich, malty body while Darjeeling adds a brighter, aromatic lift, creating a full-bodied, well-rounded cup that drinks beautifully with or without milk. OP (Orange Pekoe) refers to the whole-leaf grade of the tea. Available in 250g, 500g and 1kg packs for retail and wholesale customers across Australia. Tea has traditionally been enjoyed as an everyday beverage and is not a therapeutic good.

Directions of Use

This is a full-bodied loose leaf black tea, so a little goes a long way. Adjust leaf quantity and steeping time to taste.

1. Hot tea: Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf per cup in an infuser or teapot. Pour over freshly boiled water and steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

2. With milk: Steep for the full 5 minutes for a stronger brew, then add milk, honey or sugar to taste.

3. Chai or milk tea base: Simmer 2 teaspoons per cup with your chosen spices, then add milk and sweeten to taste.

4. Iced tea: Brew at double strength, strain, allow to cool, then serve over ice with lemon.
