Chamomile Organic Bulk Tea Bags — FAQs

Everything you need to know before you order.

Yes. Our Chamomile tea bags are made from Soilon — a plant-based, biodegradable and compostable material derived from polylactic acid (PLA). Unlike conventional nylon pyramid bags, Soilon breaks down naturally and is suitable for home and commercial composting. It's one of the most eco-responsible choices available for pyramid-style tea bags in Australia.
No — absolutely none. Our pyramid tea bags are sealed using a heat-bonding process only, with no adhesives or glue at any point in the production. This keeps the bag entirely food-safe and free from any chemical residues that can sometimes be associated with glue-sealed bags.
All of our teas — including the Chamomile Organic — are blended and packed right here in Coomera on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia by The Herbal Connection team. We operate from our own HACCP-certified, 5-Star Eat Safe facility, meaning every batch is produced under strict food safety protocols from start to finish.
Yes. This is a single-ingredient product made using certified organic Matricaria chamomilla — pure chamomile flower, sourced to certified organic standards. There are no fillers, blending ingredients, or additives of any kind. What's in the bag is exactly what it says.
Matricaria chamomilla is the botanical name for German Chamomile — the variety most commonly used in herbal teas. It produces small, daisy-like flowers with a delicate apple-like fragrance and a naturally sweet, mild flavour. German Chamomile is the most widely cultivated and commercially used form of chamomile globally, and is the variety used in our tea bags.
Yes. Chamomile is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea. It is not derived from the Camellia sinensis tea plant, which is the source of caffeine in black, green, and white teas. Our Chamomile Organic bags contain only Matricaria chamomilla — nothing else — making them a naturally caffeine-free option suitable for any time of day.
Absolutely. The 100-pack is our standard café and retail quantity. For larger wholesale volumes or contract tea bag packing under your own brand, please contact our office directly. We offer private label and contract packing services from our Gold Coast facility. A maximum of 10 packs can be purchased via the website; beyond that, reach out for a tailored quote.
For best results, store Chamomile tea bags in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and strong odours. When stored correctly, the bags maintain their quality for the full shelf life indicated on the batch label. We recommend using within 12 months of the best-before date printed on the pack.
Yes. We ship Australia-wide from our Gold Coast warehouse. Orders placed online are dispatched promptly, and wholesale clients can arrange regular standing orders through our office. For international shipping or freight-forward enquiries, please get in touch directly via our Contact Us page.
