Our Senna Leaves Powder Organic is made from certified organic senna leaf (Senna alexandrina) grown in India. The leaf is freeze treated, then milled into a fine powder by our own production team in Australia. It is a single-ingredient herbal powder with nothing added, supplied to naturopaths, herbalists, health food stores, manufacturers and home users in packs from 250g up to bulk quantities.

Directions of Use
This is a fine powder, so a little goes a long way. Use less than you would of cut leaf, and follow the guidance of your healthcare professional.
1. As an infusion: Stir a small amount of powder into a cup of hot (not boiling) water, steep for no more than 5 to 10 minutes, then strain through a fine filter or let the powder settle.
2. Short-term use only: Senna is not intended for long-term use. Do not use it for more than 7 consecutive days unless advised by a healthcare professional.
3. Who should avoid it: Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for children, or for anyone with a digestive condition or taking medication, unless advised by a healthcare professional.
