A gently fragrant, certified organic five-ingredient blend drawing on some of the most well-regarded botanicals in the European and Australian herbal tradition for evening use — Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Lemon Myrtle, Lavender Flowers, and Moringa Leaves. The chamomile and lemon balm provide a classic, honey-scented floral base; the Provençal lavender adds a distinct aromatic elegance; the Australian-native Lemon Myrtle contributes a bright citrus lift; and the moringa adds depth of colour and an earthy, nutritive green note. Naturally caffeine-free. Blended with love by The Herbal Connection using local and imported certified organic ingredients.

Organic Sweet Dreams Tea — FAQs

Everything you need to know before you order.

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla or Chamaemelum nobile) is one of the oldest and most widely used medicinal plants in the world, with a history stretching back to ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. In the Western herbal tradition, chamomile flowers have been used for centuries as a gentle nervine — a botanical associated with soothing the nervous system — and as a digestive herb. It has a mild, honey-like, faintly apple-scented flavour and is one of the most universally consumed herbal tisanes globally, particularly as an evening drink.
Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a perennial herb in the mint family, native to the Mediterranean and parts of Central Asia, with a documented history of use in European herbal medicine dating back to ancient Greece. It was grown in monastery gardens throughout medieval Europe and is described in texts by Paracelsus and John Gerard. In the Western herbal tradition, lemon balm is consistently associated with the nervous system and is one of the most frequently used herbs in evening and nighttime herbal blends. It has a fresh, mildly lemony and slightly minty character.
Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) is a flowering tree endemic to the subtropical rainforests of Queensland, Australia. Its leaves contain one of the highest concentrations of citral of any plant on Earth — giving them an intensely fresh, clean, pure lemon fragrance that surpasses even lemon itself. It has been used by Aboriginal Australians for thousands of years as a food plant and is now recognised as one of Australia's most distinctive and celebrated native botanicals. In this blend it provides a bright, uplifting citrus note that beautifully contrasts with the softer, more earthy floral character of the chamomile and lavender.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is native to the Mediterranean and has been used in herbal, culinary, and cosmetic traditions since ancient Rome. The name itself derives from the Latin lavare — "to wash" — and it was widely used by the Romans in bathing. In European folk medicine and monastic herbal tradition, lavender is consistently associated with calming, aromatic, and nervine properties. It is one of the most beloved aromatic herbs in the world and its use in evening tea blends has a long and well-documented tradition.
Yes — completely. None of the five botanicals — Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Lemon Myrtle, Lavender, or Moringa — are derived from the Camellia sinensis plant. Organic Sweet Dreams Tea is naturally caffeine-free and particularly suited to evening consumption.
Yes — all five ingredients are certified organic. The blend is made by The Herbal Connection using local and imported certified organic ingredients. The Herbal Connection is a Certified Organic business operating from our 5-Star Eat Safe licensed facility on the Gold Coast.
Add one teaspoon per 200ml to a teapot or infuser. Pour freshly boiled water over the blend and steep for 3–4 minutes. The floral herbs — chamomile and lavender — release their character quickly; a longer steep will bring out more of the moringa and lemon myrtle. Strain and enjoy. The blend has a gentle, honey-floral character with a bright citrus lift from the lemon myrtle. Store below 23°C in a dark, airtight container.
Organic Sweet Dreams Tea is available in 250g, 500g, 1kg, and 5kg bulk packs. The 5kg option is a bulk pack, not individual units. For larger volumes, contract blending, or private label enquiries, please contact our office directly. We ship Australia-wide from our Gold Coast warehouse.
