Give your body the support it needs to stay strong with our complex and fortifying Immunity blend. This masterful tonic is designed as your daily defender, combining traditional herbal powerhouses in one delicious, mint-forward cup.

At its core, Echinacea, the world-renowned herb for immune support, provides a robust, earthy foundation. This is enhanced by the cleansing properties of St. Mary's Milk Thistle Seed and fresh Parsley, creating a deep, purifying base.

The flavour is then beautifully rounded out. Licorice Root lends a natural, soothing sweetness that coats the throat, while bright, tangy Rosehips offer a vitalizing, vitamin C-rich high-note. Finally, a generous wave of cooling Peppermint lifts the entire blend, making it exceptionally refreshing and soothing. It's a complex, balanced, and vital brew, perfect for a daily wellness ritual or as a comforting companion when you're feeling run down.

Immunity Blend — Loose Herbal Blend for People & Horses

A robust, well-composed six-herb blend — Echinacea, Licorice Root, Peppermint, Rosehips, St Mary's Milk Thistle Seed, and Parsley — originally developed as part of The Herbal Connection's equine range but built entirely from botanicals with centuries of documented use in human herbal medicine as well. The same herbs that have traditionally supported general vitality and wellbeing in horses translate equally well to human use, making this a genuinely versatile blend for both the feed room and the kitchen.

Steep as a loose leaf herbal tea for people, or add to feed for horses. Naturally caffeine-free. Blended in Australia from local and imported ingredients. Available wholesale in 250g, 500g, 1kg, and 5kg bulk packs. Always consult a veterinarian for equine use and a healthcare professional for personal health concerns.

Immunity Blend — FAQs

Everything you need to know before you order.

Yes — this blend is well-suited to both people and horses. While originally developed as part of The Herbal Connection's equine range, every botanical — Echinacea, Licorice Root, Peppermint, Rosehips, St Mary's Milk Thistle Seed, and Parsley — has an equally long and well-documented history of use in human herbal medicine. The traditional support these herbs offer translates directly across species. For horses, add to feed; for people, steep as a loose leaf herbal tea. Always consult a veterinarian for equine use and a healthcare professional for personal health concerns.
Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea and related species) is a flowering plant native to North America, used for centuries by various Indigenous North American peoples before becoming one of the most widely used herbs in Western herbalism. Adopted into European herbal medicine in the late 19th century, it is now one of the most commonly consumed herbal botanicals in the world, appearing in both human and veterinary herbal traditions. It has a mild, slightly earthy flavour with a distinctive tingling sensation on the tongue.
St Mary's Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region with a history of medicinal use stretching back over 2,000 years. The seeds — which contain the active flavonoid complex silymarin — are the primary part used medicinally and have been associated with liver support in Western and traditional herbal medicine since antiquity. It is one of the most well-researched herbs in the Western herbal pharmacopoeia and is used extensively in both human and equine herbal practice.
Parsley (Petroselinum crispum) is far more than a garnish. It has been used as both a food and medicinal herb across the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Europe since ancient Greek and Roman times. Parsley is exceptionally rich in vitamins C and K, and contains a range of flavonoids and volatile oils. In traditional herbal practice it is associated with kidney and urinary support, and has a long history in equine feeding as a nutritive and cleansing herb.
Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) plays a key flavour role here — its naturally sweet, warming character softens the more bitter and earthy notes from the Echinacea and Milk Thistle, making the blend far more pleasant to drink or eat without added sweetener. Rosehips — the seed pods of Rosa canina — are one of the richest plant sources of Vitamin C in nature, and have been used in European folk medicine and food traditions for centuries, traditionally associated with immune support and general vitality.
Yes — completely. None of the six botanicals are derived from the Camellia sinensis plant. The Immunity Blend is naturally caffeine-free and suitable for any time of day for people, or added to feed at any time for horses.
Add one heaped teaspoon to a teapot or infuser. Pour freshly boiled water over the blend and steep for 5–7 minutes — the Echinacea and Rosehips benefit from a longer steep to fully release their character. Strain and enjoy. The blend has a refreshing, mint-forward character with a pleasant sweetness from the Licorice Root and a fruity tartness from the Rosehips. Store below 23°C in a dark, airtight container.
Immunity Blend is available in 250g, 500g, 1kg, and 5kg bulk packs. The 5kg option is a bulk pack, not individual units. For larger volumes or wholesale enquiries, please contact our office directly. We ship Australia-wide from our Gold Coast warehouse.
Store below 23°C in a cool, dry, dark location in an airtight container. Peppermint is highly aromatic — seal tightly after each use to preserve its character. When stored correctly the blend maintains its quality for 2+ years from production.
