Directions of Use

Yes — completely. All seven botanicals in this blend are herbal ingredients with no caffeine and no derivation from the Camellia sinensis tea plant. The Detox Tea Blend is naturally caffeine-free and suitable for consumption at any time of day.
Calendula (Calendula officinalis), also known as pot marigold, is one of the most widely used flowering herbs in European herbal tradition, with documented use dating back to ancient Rome and Egypt. Its vivid orange and yellow petals are used both as a culinary ingredient (as a saffron substitute historically) and as a medicinal botanical. In traditional European herbalism, calendula is associated with the skin, lymphatic system, and digestive tract, and is a staple of the Western herbal medicine dispensary.
Juniper (Juniperus communis) berries are the small, round, blue-black cone-like fruits of the juniper conifer. They are perhaps best known as the botanical responsible for the distinctive flavour of gin, but their use in European herbal and culinary traditions predates distillation by millennia. They were used in ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman medicine, and are a traditional ingredient in Scandinavian and Alpine European herbal practice, historically associated with the urinary system and kidney support. They have a piney, slightly spicy, resinous flavour.
Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) has been used as a botanical ingredient in herbal traditions across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe for thousands of years. In this blend, it plays a key flavour role — its naturally sweet, warming character softens the resinous notes from the juniper berries and balances the earthiness of the nettle and fennel, making the overall cup more pleasant and well-rounded without added sweetener.
Yes — all seven ingredients are certified organic. The blend is made in Australia from local and imported certified organic botanicals by The Herbal Connection, a Certified Organic business operating from our 5-Star Eat Safe licensed facility on the Gold Coast.
Add 1–2 teaspoons to a teapot or infuser. Pour freshly boiled water over the blend and steep for 5–7 minutes. The fennel seeds and licorice root benefit from a longer steep to fully release their flavour. Strain and enjoy hot, or brew strong and serve over ice. Store below 23°C in a dark, airtight container.
