Our BULK Earl Grey Tea OP Organic is a 10kg wholesale carton of the same classic, fragrant Earl Grey as our retail range, made from certified organic Darjeeling black tea and natural bergamot oil (Citrus bergamia). The HC team infuse the natural bergamot oil ourselves. A premium, extremely high quality loose leaf tea, it's well suited to cafés, tea merchants, retailers and manufacturers who want to buy in volume. "OP" stands for Orange Pekoe, a leaf-grade term – it doesn't mean the tea contains orange. Available to wholesale accounts only, with a 10% bulk discount off the standard per-kilogram wholesale rate. Produced in Australia using local and imported ingredients.

Directions of Use

This is a loose leaf black tea – brew it in a teapot or infuser using freshly boiled water.

1. Hot tea: Use about 1 teaspoon (2–3 g) per 250 ml cup. Steep for 3–5 minutes, then strain.

2. With milk or lemon: Steep a little stronger if you plan to add milk, or serve black with a slice of lemon. For a London Fog, top with steamed milk and a touch of vanilla syrup.

3. Iced tea: Brew at double strength, strain, and pour over ice.

4. Baking and cooking: Infuse the leaves in warm milk or cream, then strain and use in cakes, shortbread, custards or syrups.
