Directions of Use

1. Use 1–2 teaspoons of blend per cup of near-boiling water (90–95°C).

2. Steep covered for 5–10 minutes to allow the botanicals to infuse.

3. Strain the tea and enjoy warm, preferably in the evening before bed.

4. Adjust the quantity to suit your personal taste and desired strength.

Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is a climbing vine native to North and South America that produces strikingly beautiful flowers. It has been used in traditional herbal medicine by various Indigenous American peoples and was introduced to European herbalism in the 17th century. In Western herbal practice, passionflower is one of the most widely used nervine and calming herbs, consistently appearing in evening and nighttime herbal blends across Europe, North America, and Australia. It has a mild, slightly earthy, and subtly bitter flavour.
Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citrodora) is a South American shrub introduced to Europe in the 17th century by Spanish and Portuguese explorers. It quickly became one of the most popular aromatic herbs in European gardens and is now widely cultivated across the Mediterranean. It has an intensely fresh, pure lemon fragrance — often described as one of the most lemon-scented plants available — and a pleasant citrusy flavour in tea. In traditional herbal practice, it is associated with the nervous system and digestive tract, and has been used in calming and evening herbal preparations across Southern Europe for centuries.
Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) — also known as Eleuthero — is a woody shrub native to Siberia, northeastern China, Korea, and Japan. Despite the name, it is not a true ginseng (Panax) but has been used as a tonic herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 2,000 years, classified as an adaptogen — a botanical used to help the body maintain balance during periods of physical and mental stress. Add 1–2 teaspoons to a teapot or infuser. Pour water at around 90–95°C over the blend and cover the cup or pot immediately to retain the aromatic volatile oils from the peppermint, lavender, and lemon verbena. Steep for 5–10 minutes. Strain and enjoy warm, ideally in the evening. Sweeten lightly with honey if desired. Store below 23°C in a sealed, dark, dry container.
