Rejuvenating Skin Tea — FAQs

Everything you need to know before you order.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) — also known as pot marigold — is a flowering herb native to the Mediterranean with one of the longest documented histories in European herbal medicine. Its vivid orange and yellow petals have been used as a culinary ingredient and medicinal botanical since ancient Rome. In the Western herbal tradition, calendula is strongly associated with the skin and lymphatic system, and is one of the most used herbs in topical and internal preparations relating to skin support. It contributes a warm, mildly sweet, earthy flavour and striking golden colour to any blend.
Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is one of the oldest surviving plant species on Earth and has been used medicinally since ancient Greek and Roman times. It is notable for its exceptionally high silica content — a mineral component of collagen, skin, hair, and nails in the human body. In traditional European herbalism, horsetail has long been associated with skin, hair, and connective tissue support, and is a staple of beauty-focused herbal blends across European herbal traditions.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is one of the most important tonic herbs in Ayurvedic tradition, where it has been used for over 3,000 years. It is classified as a Rasayana — a rejuvenating herb — in Ayurveda, and is associated with general vitality, energy, and the body's capacity to adapt to stress. Its name in Sanskrit means "smell of horse," referring to both its characteristic aroma and its traditional association with stamina and strength. It has a mildly earthy, slightly bitter flavour.
Both are far more than culinary herbs. Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) has been used medicinally across the Middle East, India, and the Mediterranean since antiquity and is associated with digestive support and general detoxification in traditional herbal practice. Parsley (Petroselinum crispum) is exceptionally rich in vitamins C and K and in traditional European herbalism has been used as a nutritive and cleansing botanical since ancient Rome and Greece. Both contribute a fresh, green herbal character to the blend and provide meaningful nutritional context alongside the more aromatic botanicals.
Yes — completely. All seven botanicals are herbal ingredients with no caffeine and no derivation from the Camellia sinensis plant. Rejuvenating Skin Tea is naturally caffeine-free and suitable at any time of day.
Add one heaped teaspoon to a teapot or infuser. Pour freshly boiled water over the blend and steep for 5–7 minutes. Strain and enjoy. The blend has a gently floral, mildly earthy character with a soft lavender and chamomile aroma. Store below 23°C in a dark, airtight container.
Rejuvenating Skin Tea is available in 250g, 500g, 1kg, and 5kg bulk packs. The 5kg option is a bulk pack, not individual units. For larger volumes, contract blending, or private label enquiries, please contact our office directly. We ship Australia-wide from our Gold Coast warehouse.
