Certified Organic Pu'erh Tea, AAAA Grade (Camellia sinensis) — also known as Pu-erh, Puerh, or Pu'er Tea — packed into 100 biodegradable pyramid tea bags for café and food service use. This is the same premium AAAA grade post-fermented pu'erh sourced from China as our loose leaf product, packed into a convenient single-serve format. The pyramid bag shape allows the leaf more room to expand and circulate during steeping than a flat bag, giving a fuller infusion closer to loose leaf brewing while retaining the speed and consistency café service requires.

Pu'erh is processed differently from green, white, oolong, and black tea — all of which share the same source plant, Camellia sinensis. Where black tea is fully oxidised, pu'erh undergoes a distinct post-fermentation process: aged under controlled humidity after initial processing, developing a deep, earthy, smooth character over time. This format is ready to brew straight from the box — no measuring or loose leaf handling required, making it well suited to café and food service environments where consistency and speed matter. How do I brew Pu'erh pyramid tea bags?

Pour water heated to 95–100°C over the tea bag. Steep for 3–5 minutes for a full-bodied cup — pu'erh generally benefits from a slightly longer steep than green tea. A quick rinse (pour hot water over the bag for 5–10 seconds, discard, then brew as normal) can be used in café service if time allows, though it is optional in the bag format unlike traditional loose leaf preparation. Pyramid bags can typically yield a second, lighter infusion if re-steeped, though the flavour will be less intense than the first.
