Yes. Our Pain Reliever Tea bags are made from Soilon — a plant-based, biodegradable and compostable material derived from polylactic acid (PLA). Unlike conventional nylon pyramid bags, Soilon breaks down naturally and is suitable for home and commercial composting. It's one of the most eco-responsible choices available for pyramid-style tea bags in Australia.

Is glue used to seal the tea bags?

No — absolutely none. Our pyramid tea bags are sealed using a heat-bonding process only, with no adhesives or glue at any point in the production. This keeps the bag entirely food-safe and free from any chemical residues that can sometimes be associated with glue-sealed bags.

Where are these tea bags blended and packed?

All of our teas — including Pain Reliever Tea — are blended and packed right here in Coomera on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia by The Herbal Connection team. We are proudly Certified Organic and operate from our own 5-Star Eat Safe licensed facility, meaning every batch is produced under strict food safety standards from start to finish.

Are the ingredients certified organic?

Yes. Pain Reliever Tea is made using certified organic ingredients. The Green Tea Sencha, Tulsi Leaves, and Turmeric Chips are specifically certified organic, and the full blend is Australian origin. The Herbal Connection is a Certified Organic business and our products are sourced and handled to those standards.

Does Pain Reliever Tea contain caffeine?

Yes — this blend contains Green Tea Sencha (Camellia sinensis), which is a naturally caffeinated ingredient. The caffeine level will be lower than a standard black tea due to the proportion of green tea relative to the other botanicals in the blend, but it is not caffeine-free.

How should I brew Pain Reliever Tea?

Place one tea bag into your cup or teapot and pour freshly boiled water over it. Allow to steep for 5–7 minutes to draw out the full depth of the botanicals — turmeric and ginger particularly benefit from a longer steep. Remove the tea bag and enjoy. The used Soilon bag can be composted.
