Matcha Latte Organic — Ceremonial Grade Matcha & Moringa Powder

A clean, vivid green latte powder blending just two certified organic ingredients — Ceremonial Grade Matcha (Camellia sinensis) and Organic Moringa Leaf Powder. The ceremonial grade matcha provides a rich, smooth, umami-forward flavour with a vivid emerald colour; the moringa adds an earthy, nutrient-dense green depth and a subtle bitterness that complements the matcha beautifully. Stirs smoothly into steamed milk or a plant-based alternative for a café-quality matcha latte. Blended to order at The Herbal Connection on the Gold Coast.

Please note: this blend contains caffeine from the Matcha (Camellia sinensis). Available wholesale in 250g, 500g, 1kg, and 5kg bulk packs.

Matcha Latte Organic — FAQs

Everything you need to know before you order.

Add 1 teaspoon of powder to a small amount of hot water (not boiling — around 70–75°C) and whisk or stir vigorously to form a smooth paste. This prevents clumping. Heat and froth your preferred milk — dairy, oat, almond, or soy all work well — and pour over the paste, stirring to combine. Serve hot or over ice for a cold matcha latte. Sweeten to taste with honey or maple syrup if desired. The powder can also be blended into smoothies or stirred into overnight oats.
Yes — Matcha (Camellia sinensis) is naturally caffeinated. Matcha typically contains more caffeine than brewed green tea because the whole leaf is consumed in powdered form rather than steeped and discarded. The caffeine in matcha is often described as releasing more gradually than coffee due to the presence of L-theanine — an amino acid found naturally in tea leaves. Moringa contains no caffeine.
Matcha is stone-ground green tea made from shade-grown Camellia sinensis leaves. Ceremonial grade refers to the highest quality tier — made from the youngest, most tender leaves of the first spring harvest, with the stems and veins removed before grinding. This produces a fine, vibrant emerald powder with a smooth, sweet, umami-rich flavour and minimal bitterness. Culinary grade matcha uses older leaves and is suitable for baking and cooking but lacks the smooth drinking experience of ceremonial grade. The ceremonial grade matcha in this blend is chosen specifically for latte use.
Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a fast-growing tree native to South Asia whose dried leaves have been consumed as a food and medicinal ingredient for thousands of years in Ayurvedic tradition and across South and Southeast Asia and Africa. In this blend, the organic moringa leaf powder contributes a deeper, earthier green note alongside the matcha, adding nutritional density and a slightly vegetal complexity that distinguishes this latte from a standard matcha powder. The vivid green of both ingredients combined produces a striking, jewel-toned colour in the cup.
Yes — both ingredients are certified organic. The blend is made in Australia with local and imported certified organic products, blended to order by The Herbal Connection. We are a Certified Organic business operating from our 5-Star Eat Safe licensed facility on the Gold Coast.
Matcha has been consumed in Japan for over 800 years, introduced by Buddhist monks who brought powdered tea techniques from China during the Song Dynasty. It became central to the Japanese tea ceremony (Chado) — a highly formalised ritual of preparing and sharing powdered tea that is considered one of the great arts of Japanese culture. The shade-growing technique used to produce high-quality matcha was developed to enhance the concentration of chlorophyll and L-theanine in the leaves, giving ceremonial matcha its characteristic vivid colour, smooth flavour, and distinctive mouth-feel.
Matcha Latte Organic is available in 250g, 500g, 1kg, and 5kg bulk packs. The 5kg option is a bulk pack, not individual units. This blend is made to order at The Herbal Connection. For larger volumes or wholesale enquiries, please contact our office directly. We ship Australia-wide from our Gold Coast warehouse.
Store below 23°C in a sealed, dark, dry container. Matcha is particularly sensitive to light, heat, oxygen, and moisture — all four accelerate oxidation and will degrade the colour and flavour. Always seal tightly after each use and avoid leaving the container open. For best quality, consume within 3–6 months of opening. Shelf life from production is up to 24 months when stored correctly and unopened.
