Our BULK Green Tea Sencha Organic is a 15kg wholesale carton of the same fresh, grassy certified organic sencha as our retail range – a steamed green tea with a delicate sweetness and a hint of savoury umami. A premium loose leaf tea, it's well suited to cafés, tea merchants, retailers and manufacturers who want to buy in volume. Available to wholesale accounts only, with a 10% bulk discount off the standard per-kilogram wholesale rate. Country of origin: China.

Directions of Use
This is a loose leaf green tea – brew it in a teapot or infuser.
1. Use about 1 teaspoon (2–3 g) of Sencha leaves per cup. Use water that is well below boiling (around 75–85°C).
2. Pour the hot water over the leaves and steep for 1–3 minutes. A shorter steep time prevents bitterness.
3. Strain the leaves and enjoy the bright, clean flavour of the infusion.
4. High-quality Sencha leaves can be re-steeped 2–3 times. Use slightly hotter water for each subsequent, shorter infusion.
5. For iced tea, brew a double-strength batch, let it cool, and pour over ice.

Is this sencha from Japan?
Sencha is a style of tea that originated in Japan. Our Organic Sencha is grown in China and is a steamed green tea made in the sencha style. Country of origin documentation is available on request.
Is this bulk sencha certified organic?
Yes – Organic Sencha is a certified organic single-ingredient loose leaf tea, covered by The Herbal Connection's organic certification. The organic certificate is available on request from the team.
How many cups of tea are in a 15kg carton?
At about 1 teaspoon (2–3 g) of loose leaf per cup, a 15kg carton makes roughly 5,000 to 7,500 cups, depending on how strong you brew. Use water around 75–85°C and steep for 1–3 minutes.
Does sencha green tea have caffeine?
Yes. Sencha is made from Camellia sinensis, the tea plant, so it naturally contains caffeine – it is not a decaf tea. The amount in each cup varies with how much leaf you use, the water temperature and how long you steep.

Carton pricing already includes a 10% bulk discount off the standard per-kilogram wholesale rate, and standard volume tiers of 5% to 22% apply automatically at checkout. Can I get a certificate of analysis (CoA)?
Yes. A CoA, country of origin documentation, batch traceability records, an allergen declaration and the organic certificate are available on request. Email sales@herbalconnection.com.au with your order or batch details.
How is the carton shipped and stored?
Carton orders are packed and dispatched from our Gold Coast warehouse within 48 hours of payment, with delivery Australia-wide through our freight partners. For pallet quantities, contact the sales team. Once it arrives, store below 23°C in a sealed, dry container, away from moisture and direct light.
